“Gag Me With a Toon 3″ Group Art Show at Meltdown Comics in Los Angeles, Ca this Friday February 4th, 2011. This will be the 3rd year of this yearly art show curated by, “Steven Daily”. The art is themed on the concept of 70’s-80’s cartoons. The show is filled with many inspiring artists such as Jeffery Page, Maxx242, Steven Daily, Dan Quintana, Chris Gliebe, Alex Pardee, Roman Dirge, Travis Louie, Vyal and many others. Free Bandana signed by all the artists to the first 100 people.

“Covenant” By Steven Daily Opens This Friday!

“Covenant”; a solo exhibition of new art works by one of our oldest friend’s and signature artist, Steven Daily. The opening reception takes place this Friday, January 7th from 8-11pm at the Le Luz De Jesus Gallery in Los Angeles. Steven worked with To Die For on two of our most popular selling styles called “Geisha” & “The Panther”.

We will be making 100 limited edition bandanas with Steven’s art to give out to the first 100 people who attend the show on opening night. We’ve witnessed Steven work day and night to prepare for this show. The time has come and we are very excited to spend time with his pieces in person. Come show your support!

On December 16, 2010, the latest episode of the First World Problems Podcast debuted with special guest Jason, of To Die For Clothing! First World Problems is a podcast coming out of Southern California, devoted to reviewing music, movies, technology, and anything else these three decide to “nerd” out on. On this episode, along with Jason of TDF, they reviewed new music from Agalloch, Hauschka, and My Chemical Romance. As well as a new live dvd from the band, Have Heart. They also reviewed the new movie Black Swan, starring Natalie Portman. During the To Die For segment, Jason discussed To Die For overseas, words of advice, and taking risks. The Hundreds x Garfield Show Recap, with “Deph” Of To Die For!

Last Thursday, December 9, 2010, To Die For supported artist “Deph”, in the Garfield art show, presented by The Hundreds. The show took place at The Hundreds “Pop Up Store” in Santa Monica, CA, and it was a total success! “Deph” has been extremely busy for the holidays, he finished his piece just in time for the show, with minutes to spare to hang it, before the doors opened that night! Thanks to our old friend, Bobby Hundreds, for asking us to join in for the show. Also, a big thank you to Jaime of Japan LA, for always looking out for us.

The Garfield show will be on display until the end of December. Garfield Art Show with To Die For’s artist “Deph”

The opening of the show will take place on Thursday, December 9, 2010, from 8 PM to 10 PM, located at The Hundreds New Pop Up Shop 416 Broadway, Santa Monica, CA 90401.
